Origin[]
For millions of years, the humungous species of ape called kongs were considered the guardians of the lost land of Paleotopia. During modern days, the species has shrunk in numbers, once there were hundreds, now there are only a few dozens, scattered all over the land. One kong, which many knew as Kaiju, wanted to head outside his own home to find more of his kind. One day, a group of scientists had come to Paleotopia to study some of the rare species. Kaiju was tranquilized and brought to the world of man for study on how he could survive at his size. When he woke up, he started to panic and started bumping around New York City to try and find a way home. He was confused and scared, until he was visited by the Protectors who wanted to help him get home. Suddenly, a giant robotic kong attacked Kaiju, but Kaiju wasn't going to be defeated so easily. He fought back until the bot was nothing but scrap metal, Zookeeper was impressed and asked if Kaiju would help with giant monsters. Kaiju wanted to go home, but would also like to explore the world without the need for capture. Now, whenever there's a giant monster attacking somewhere like Tokyo or New York, the Protectors know to activate Code Amber, then Kaiju puts on his battle gear and is ready to battle mega monsters as Kaiju KONG.
