Origin[]
Always wondering about her self history, Gloria Kenyatta has been juggling her career as a fashion designer/model with her search for answers. The only thing she had of her true family was a bracelet that belonged to her mother that her aunt had kept safe. The bracelet was an ancient totem, said to belong to a god of spirit and mischief, according to legend, he/she who holds it will claim the power of the ancestors of the kingdom. Gloria didn't understand what this meant until one night she saw a family being attacked by muggers. The bracelet started glowing and she started attacking the thugs like a wild animal, but all she remembered seeing was a ghostly blur. She started practicing how to control the animal spirits that the bracelet held. Suddenly, she was darted and fell to the ground unconscious, only to wake up in a broken homestead in who knows where. In the next room, she met a woman in a chair who claimed to be her sister, who had brought them to her birth home, an small village called Ungoro. Gloria learned about the totem, only to have it stolen after being stung by a rare scorpion. Soon, she saw the animal spirits and found her true strength: she was meant to be the true call of the wild. She managed to take back the totem and decided to return home with her sister. Weeks went on and Gloria returned home, forever changed and fighting injustice as the spirited super heroine known to all as Jaguara. It wasn't long until Protectors Trickshot and Flashback came and invited her to their special forces.

- Animal Behaviour: She only has so much control over the animal spirits, if she gets stressed or very panicked, they start to take over.
- Lack of Totem: If she loses her charm, she won't be able to use her powers
- Exotic Scorpion Sting: If given a dose of venom from a certain scorpion, she will lose connection with the totem until it wears off
